Terms of Service
These terms cover Agentevo's hosted service: this website, the web console and the Cloud API. The local runtime and SDK are open-source software under the Apache License 2.0, and that license governs how you use them. How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
Agreement
By creating an account or calling the Cloud API, you agree to these terms. If you use Agentevo for an organization, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf. You do not need an account, or to accept these terms, to run the local runtime.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in and your personal access tokens private; you are responsible for what happens under them. Revoke a token you no longer trust, and tell us at support@agentevo.sh if you think your account has been compromised.
The Free plan
- Free includes 10,000 billable cloud requests per month, for one user and one workspace. One batched call of up to 100 events counts as one request.
- Local work is never counted, and neither are usage and entitlement reads, job-status polling, health checks, sign-in refreshes or revocation pulls.
- At the monthly limit, billable cloud operations pause until the next month. Non-billable control calls and authorized containment and data-rights operations, including revocation, export and deletion, remain available subject to authentication, permissions and service availability. Everything local keeps working, and Free never charges overages.
- Pro and Team are coming soon. We do not take payment today; paid plans will come with their own terms before you can buy them.
Your data
You keep every right you have in your data and in what your agents learn. You give us permission to store, process and transmit the data you send to the hosted service only to run it for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only send data you are allowed to send. Do not send secrets: the runtime redacts matches to configured secret patterns, and the Cloud API screens supported payloads for those patterns. Automated detection can miss sensitive material; review what you send.
Sync terms
Version 2026-09-21
Sync is off by default, and set per workspace. Turning it on, or moving a workspace to a mode the cloud can see more of, needs a workspace owner or admin to accept this version explicitly, for example:
agentevo sync mode --set searchable --terms-version 2026-09-21 --yes
- Local-only (default): no skill data is synced; cloud account use can still send control metadata. Separately, explicit cloud recall sends query text and selected context, including any supplied failure context, after local screening and redaction. Optional BYOK embeddings send input text to your configured provider.
- Opaque Relay: full skill steps travel end-to-end encrypted. We store sealed envelopes we cannot read; your devices index and decrypt them locally.
- Searchable Sync: sanitized step templates and fingerprints are uploaded so the service can search them. Ordinary sync excludes raw file contents, diffs, command output, prompts and absolute paths. Sanitizing and secret-pattern redaction are automated and can miss sensitive information; review templates before upload. Use Local-only or Opaque Relay for a workspace whose templates should not be searchable by the service.
- Trust does not travel for free. A synced copy carries its own
cloud_state. It reaches Trusted in the cloud only with independent evidence from your devices; checking a synced copy in the cloud confirms its integrity, not that it is safe to reuse. - Revocations come first. Revocations and tombstones sync ahead of everything else, on push, on pull and in caches.
- Stepping down is always allowed. Moving to less cloud visibility never needs new consent. It stops new uploads and search immediately; copies already stored stay until you delete the workspace's cloud data.
- Sync pushes and cloud recall count as billable cloud requests. Revocation pulls do not.
- If we publish a new version of these sync terms, a workspace keeps its current mode, and it must accept the new version before its next upgrade.
Your agents and their actions
Agentevo verifies what your agents learn and checks the actions they propose, but you choose which agents to run, which actions to approve, and which policies to set. Guards, verification and trust states reduce risk; they do not guarantee that an action is correct or safe, and you remain responsible for what your agents do. Your agent's calls to its own model provider are between you and that provider.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law or to harm, harass or deceive others.
- Do not probe, overload or attack the service, or try to reach another tenant's data.
- Do not get around quotas, rate limits or access controls, for example by opening accounts to multiply the Free allowance.
The service and disclaimers
We keep improving the service, so features may change. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why when we can. The Free plan is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about the hosted service is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time. Workspace owners can export or delete workspace cloud data through the Cloud API. Account owners can export cloud account data and delete the active Agentevo tenant from the console's Account page or the Cloud API. Deletion leaves retained audit, billing and minimal usage history and backup copies as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not delete your local vault or your separate Clerk identity. The local runtime keeps working without an account. Other requests can be sent to support@agentevo.sh.
Changes and contact
When these terms change we update the date at the top. Questions: support@agentevo.sh.
